20 Minutes in the Life or Death of a Tree is a 1-day workshop that focuses on tree planting and tree care. The workshop includes an introduction to the fundamentals of tree biology, a hands-on examination of tree root systems, the application of this knowledge to ensure proper planting and a demonstration and discussion of post-planting tree care.
Through a combination of presentations, root examinations, and tree plantings this workshop will cover:
-Tree root biology and formation
-Aligning planting methods with root structure
-Tree planting based on tree type
-Tree care the first year after planting
