The Wisconsin Arborist Association (WAA) was founded in 1964 by a small group of 38 arborists dedicated to improving the knowledge and quality of the profession of arboriculture. Since that time the WAA has grown into a large organization of commercial, municipal, utility and academic arborists. The WAA is a chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture which has representation in over 30 countries.
WAA members serve Wisconsin by providing private and public arboriculture services through research, technology, and education, and promote the professional practice of arboriculture to foster a greater worldwide awareness of the benefits of trees.
Nominate a WAA Member for an Office or Award
