This year the Milwaukee Area Kids Climb Task force is holding 3 kids climbs:
- Port Washington Veterans Park on Sat May 2nd. This is part of their annual park clean up event.
- Fox Point Village Hall on Sat June 13th. This is part of the Village’s 100th anniversary celebration.
- River Bend Nature Center on Sunday Oct. 4th. This is part of the annual Chainsaw Carving and Art Festival.
We are seeking volunteers to help out with these events. Each event needs the following:
- Tree climbers to help kids in the trees
- People on the ground belaying the kids up the trees
- A couple logistical people to outfit helmets and saddles and sign waiver forms.

We can use all the volunteers we can get. This is great way to get active in the WAA, even if you are not a tree climber.
