Women's Tree Climbing Workshop Grant

 

This $2500 grant is offered annually by the Wisconsin Arborist Association (WAA) to remove the financial burden to allow female WAA members the opportunity to attend the highly regarded workshops provided by www.womenstreeclimbingworkshop.com.

Details

  • The applicant must fully complete the application form below with an annual deadline of December 31st to receive the grant in the following year.
  • Applications will be reviewed in January/February each year by the WAA Nominating Committee, with the recipient receiving the award at the WAA/DNR Annual Conference in February
  • The winner must commit to writing a future article for the WAA Newsletter, recapping their experience at the workshop (including photos)
  • The winner must commit to assist with raffle ticket sales at the following WAA/DNR Annual Conference
  • This is a one-time payment of $2500 to the individual, with the intention to help the winner with the financial obstacles that come with registration, travel, lodging, and lost wages. The award recipient is responsible for arranging their own registration, travel, and lodging.
