DESCRIPTION:ISA offers the Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) as an instructor-led credential that demonstrates professional knowledge in tree risk assessment through participation in a training course and passing its accompanying exam. The TRAQ program offers tree care professionals the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the fundamentals of tree risk assessment by learning a standardized\, systematic process for assessing tree risk and providing information to tree owners and risk managers for making informed decisions that will promote the safety of people and property and enhance tree benefits\, health\, and longevity. Through education and training\, arborists will learn strategies to systematically identify and assess tree risk. \n\n\n\nThe qualified professional will: \n\n\n\nbe proficient with the fundamentals of limited-visual and basic tree risk assessment\, as defined in ISA’s Best Management Practices: Tree Risk Assessment;understand the principles of advanced diagnostic techniques for assessing tree risk;gather and synthesize information needed to assess tree risk; andmake reasoned judgments and recommendations for mitigating identified risk.\n\n\n\nISA Member $625 \n\n\n\nNon ISA Member $750 \n\n\n\nExam Retake Only $150 \n\n\n\n*Course registration fee includes workshop\, the Tree Risk Assessment manual\, TRAQ workbook\, and Risk Assessment Clipboard\, along with lunch and breaks during the two-day training.   \n\n\n\nRegistration Deadline: July 28\, 2020

This qualification promotes the safety of people and property by providing a standardized and systematic process for assessing tree risk. The results of a tree risk assessment can provide tree owners and risk managers with the information to make informed decisions to enhance tree benefits\, health\, and longevity. \n\n\n\nThe Tree Risk Assessment Qualification Renewal Course is a one-day refresher\, with five hours of instruction\, and three hours to take the exam. Current TRAQ holders may complete the TRAQ Renewal Course as early as 18 months prior to your qualification expiration date. \n\n\n\nRegistration Deadline: July 28\, 2020
