DESCRIPTION:These all mobile crane nationally accredited certificate courses are NCCER/OSHA/ANSI approved programs for licensing crane operators. Crane operators must be licensed to operate per OSHA Subpart CC. \n\n\n\nFor more information as to the content of this class\, please view the descriptions here. The list below shows the types of cranes this course can cover\, depending on what the students operate on the job. SUMMARY:Webinar: Engaging Community Residents in Heat Mitigation and Canopy Expansion
DESCRIPTION:The West Mesa River Community Heat Action Project\, a recent initiative of the Rio Reimagined partnership\, focuses on addressing heat mitigation along the eastern reach of the Salt-Gila River corridor through Metropolitan Phoenix. The two-year project (2020-2022) engaged over 350 residents\, 8 faith-based organizations\, 15 social service organizations\, and 34 local businesses\, with more than 300 trees planted to date.  \n\n\n\nIn this webinar\, Paul Coseo and Cecilia Riviere will share strategies and lessons learned from the multi-faceted project\, which included social vulnerability mapping\, tree inventory\, community engagement\, education\, and implementation of urban canopy to cool local river neighborhoods.  \n\n\n\nSpeakers: Paul Coseo\, Cecilia Kelly Riviere

SUMMARY:2022 WAA Tree Climbing Championship
DESCRIPTION:High Cliff State Park\, Sherwood\, WI\n\n\n\nFriday 10am Gear Inspection\, followed by a walk-through of Preliminary Events. The first two preliminary events will start by 12pm on Friday the 10th. (Events to be determined). \n\n\n\nSaturday 7am Check in\, 7:30am start\, 2pm Masters’ Challenge. \n\n\n\nThe success of our event would not be possible without the support of our many great Sponsors and Volunteers. Sign up early and come join us to compete or help\, you won’t regret the experience!\n\n\n\nYou must pre-register for this competition\, and competitors must be current WAA members.  We are accepting 30 Wisconsin competitors and 5 Out of State competitors.  Register on time\, as the number of contestants is limited.  In agreement with other ISA chapters\, competitors may compete in only one chapter championship per year\, preferably their home chapter.  Contestants will be scheduled for all 5 preliminary events.  \n\n\n\nWinners of the 2022 TC will represent WI at the International TCC in 2023.\n\n\n\nA small ArborFair will be held this year\, although NO kids climb will be held.  \n\n\n\nCovid protocols will be followed during the event. SUMMARY:National Firewood Workshop 2022
DESCRIPTION:Firewood plays a vital role in our state\, especially in regions that do not have access to markets for small-diameter logs\, and this year the National Firewood Workshop will be held in Wisconsin.
