SUMMARY:2026 WAA Tree Climbing Championship
DESCRIPTION:Climbers from around WI compete to see who is the best of the best. The best man and best woman climbers will be sent to compete in the ITCC.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLegion Park – 1212 Charles St.\, DePere\, WI 54115\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFriday will include gear check\, walk-through\, and ascent and belayed speed climbing events. \n\n\n\nSaturday will be the remaining preliminary events and preliminary awards. \n\n\n\nSunday will be the Master’s Challenge and final awards. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe success of our event would not be possible without the support of our many great Sponsors and Volunteers. Sign up early and come join us to compete or help\, you won’t regret the experience!\n\n\n\n\n\nClimbers and volunteers will receive CEUs!\n\n\n\n\n\nYou must pre-register for this competition\, and competitors must be current WAA members.  We are accepting 40 Wisconsin competitors and 5 Out of State competitors.  Register on time\, as the number of contestants is limited.  In agreement with other ISA chapters\, competitors may compete in only one chapter championship per year\, preferably their home chapter.  Contestants will be scheduled for all 5 preliminary events. \n\n\n\n\n\nIf registration fills up\, please contact Tina to be put on a waiting list\, including Out-of-State! \n\n\n\n\n\nWinners of the 2026 TCC will represent WI at the International TCC in 2027.\n\n\n\n\n\nView WAA Code of Conduct prior to registering. SUMMARY:Emergency Medical Response Training (EMRT) For Tree Care Professionals
DESCRIPTION:OverviewThis course focuses on first aid for tree care professionals and the injuries common on the job site. We split students into groups and practice first aid treatments with each other. A short portion of the course is outside\, but 95% of the class is indoors.
