Tree Climbing Championship

The 2009 WAA Tree Climbing Championship was held Saturday, August 8, 2009 at Erb Park, in Appleton, WI. Many thanks to the judges, scorekeepers, timers, belayers, tree technicians, and ground technicians. Special thanks to all the companies that supported the championship with donations of cash and prizes!

The 2009 WAA Men's Tree Climbing Champion is Joe House. This is Joe's fourth championship in a row. Joe will represent WAA at the International Climbing Championship in Illinois, July 2010. Complete 2009 TCC Results are now available.

The following awards were presented at WAA's Annual Conference and Trade Show on Monday, February 8, 2010.

Women's Division

There we no women competitors in 2009.

The 2010 Tree Climbing Championship date and location will be announced at a later date.
